These white porcelain mugs / latte cups are thrown on the potter's wheel. They are hand-textured a few days later, before being placed in a damp chamber to continue their slow drying. Your creations are then fired a first time. It will take 2 days before the kiln can be reopened. Patience is required in a ceramic workshop :D. Your cups are then glazed on the inside while the outside is left bare to allow you to enjoy the soft sensations offered by porcelain. They are finally fired a second time at 1250°C. This high temperature ensures solid creations that will stand up to daily usage, repeated dishwasher and microwave use.
