• Feel the mountain-like curves directly under your fingers. They are entirely made by hand. These unglazed decorative objects are composed of two parts, one is left smooth while the other is texturized to offer you tactile sensations between softness and rough effect.

Contemporary and graphic ceramics with an exquisite handcrafted flavor

Thanks to a thoughtful manual work, Aurélie evokes the Pyrenees in porcelain creations shaped and hammered by hand. The decorative ceramic objects in this collection have a precious and chic dimension.

The sculpted shape of the centerpieces of the Pyrenees collection is the result of porcelain work after prepping it. These decorative pieces, whose 3D patterns are made one by one by hand, then dry slowly in a damp chamber. Once dry, these creations are slowly fired in the kiln of the workshop to reach 1250°C. It takes no less than 2 days of waiting before the oven can be reopened to finally discover the crafted decorative objects.

Placed in the center of the table, on a coffee table or on a sideboard, the Pyrenees centerpieces decorate softly and lightly. They appear to illuminate and expand the space around them. A porcelain with a modern design, which fits easily into any type of decoration, be it classic chic, contemporary or bohemian.

In addition to decorative objects, the Pyrenees collection also includes porcelain tableware items with the same design.

Elephantom.Design are also creations made by a biologist. Thinking responsibly about the environment is therefore embedded in the DNA of this project.

Large quantities of water, high temperature firing, use of metallic oxides, ... the workshop has been designed to limit as much as possible the ecological footprint that these steps would lead to.

Thus, in the workshop :

• 🌧 Water for the workshop comes from a large rainwater cistern.
• 🌍 Clay waste" is recycled to create new pieces.
• 💧 A settling tank cleans the dirty water before it goes into the sewer.
• ☔ Containers are placed in the sink to reuse tap water during the day.
• 🍽 The ceramics created are solid and will not chip!

The ceramics created in the workshop aim to be as green as possible and we continuously act to make them ever "greener". Do not hesitate to share with us your ideas to this end. We would be delighted to even further reduce our environmental footprint.
